Can I Create Anything I Want in Neon?
With Neon City, the possibilities are endless when it comes to crafting your custom piece! We can help you transform your imagination into neon reality, but please keep in mind that some restrictions exist due to the materials we use.
Size
There are no restrictions on how big a sign can be, except for practical limitations. But, depending on the complexity of the design and the type of font used, there are limitations on how small a sign can be created.
This limitation is due to the bending capacity of the LED neon tube. Certain designs and fonts use a sharp bend radius, which is possible to achieve with larger signs but increasingly difficult with smaller ones. If you must have a smaller size, we recommend considering a different font, simplifying the design, or printing some design details on the backing.
The practical limitation imposed on large signs is due to delivery concerns, as larger signs are at a higher risk of damage during transportation. To minimize this risk, signs over 43 inches (110 cm) are split into two or more pieces for safer delivery. Don’t worry, once the sign is mounted, the separation will be hardly noticeable!
Here are some examples of signs made in two or more parts:

Dots
The design constraints of an LED neon tube prevent us from creating a dot. Instead, for characters such as lowercase 'i' and 'j', and a period at the end of a sentence, we substitute the dot with a short line or a small circle.

Variations in Font Thickness
Some fonts, such as script and calligraphic fonts, have varying stroke thicknesses and use a combination of thin and thick strokes.
While designs using fonts with different stroke thicknesses can be converted into LED neon signs, the monoline nature of LED neon tubes means they maintain a consistent width and cannot replicate varying stroke thicknesses. If your design includes varying font thickness, please note that the final LED neon sign won't reproduce this variation in thickness.
