What is the Difference Between a Remote and Dimmer?

A remote wirelessly controls the sign’s functionality, allowing you to turn your sign on and off, adjust brightness, and select different lighting modes (flashing, fading, static, etc.). In the case of RGB color-changing signs, it also allows you to select different colors and dynamic color modes.

A dimmer, also known as a controller, receiver or driver, interprets signals received from the remote and adjusts the sign’s settings accordingly.

Working together, the remote and dimmer offer seamless wireless control of your LED neon sign.
